Photoscape Features
Photoscape is a photo editor, yet there are more than basic retouching tools to expect. Once you open the application, you will find 13 key features including Viewer, Editor, Photo Editor, Page, Combine, Animated GIF, Print, Splitter, Screen Capture, Color Picker, RAW Converter, Rename, and Paper Print.
Well, the Viewer mode may look nothing special. You get pretty small thumbnail view with a list of the folder at the side, a larger preview window, and some functions to rotate the image, view EXIF data, etc. However, the Editor tools have something more to expect. There are various functions you can find in the Photoscape. You can do a multitude of adjustments from color to tone, color curves, also load and save presets from one click to auto-levels commands. There are also options to apply some effects to the images and add a variety of photo frames.
There are more options within the Editor. In the object tab, there are options to add text, symbols, shapes, clip art objects, and speech balloons to stamp on the working photo. You can also browse and drop formatted pictures, objects, or symbols from your computer onto the image. You can also crop the photo as you wished using flexible cropping tool. The Editor also offers other functions including mosaic and quick touch-ups such as mole remover and red eye remover.
Meanwhile, the Batch Editor is a powerful feature of it that allows users to edit a multiple of pictures at once. Although you only resize, do some adjustments or put some filters in a single photo, but it will automatically apply to all the pictures. It is very useful to save your time when you need to work on so many photos. There is also a multi-photo layout tool. You can pick a college then drag and drop various photos into. Each individual photo can be easily moved and scaled to fit the boxes. You can also add margin, give filter effects, apply frames, and so on to all photos in the layout.
If you don’t like the current changes, you can use undo and redo function. This function comes in handy when you want to revert back to the original photo or previous changes. After finish editing, you can choose to back up the original photo before save it under the new file name. Moreover, it is capable to open any RAW image from digital cameras then convert them into JPEG images, so you can work on them easily.
Well, Photoscape layout may quite confuse for first-time users. You may need time to discover the placement of the menus, commands, and tools within the 13 features. However, once you feel accustomed, you can do everything easily.
